It was pretty busy when we dined here. It does have the perfect vibe for social gatherings so I understand why. For dinner. we got the 36-hour lamb shank Moroccan tagine (₱1480). Pricey, but reasonable for the amount of lamb compared to other restos where lamb chops go up to 2k+. The lamb was very tender, but the flavors fell a bit flat and lacked contrasting flavors. We also got the char-grilled espelette (₱980). This one I liked - tender octopus, amazing texture and flavors from the chorizo migas, and nice contrast from the chili-lime glaze. The sausage platter (₱990) was fun to try. I think they were homemade but the variety didn’t taste too far from each other. The mustard was a standout. Tasted like authentic mustard you’d get from France. Couldn’t say much about the drinks since I ordered a mocktail, which was just average. Service was great though. It does have more of a restobar vibe rather than a formal dining style, but it would seem fun to celebrate birthdays here or so

We came here for dinner on a Saturday night without reservations and we were lucky to be seated. The wine selections here were the best we've seen in the Philippines. The food was spectacular. The popcorn shrimp was spicy, scrumptious, and succulent and according to my wife, her burger was the best she has had in her entire life (she wouldn't share so I cannot attest to that). My shrimp and scallops were delicious but I feel I may have chosen poorly so we are coming back tomorrow.

Service was really great. Walked in, tables are full and the second level was still closed, we were allowed to sit in a reserved and prepared area which we really appreciated. The place is very moody and cozy. The food however wasn’t the best out there. Was expecting for escargot in a shell but was instead served escargot on a platter - it was a bit rubbery and bland. The prawn pasta was salty but the noodles were cooked nicely. The other dishes we had were also just ok.

Dr Wine was our go-to bar/restaurant whilst visiting family in BGC. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and after a while you really get to know them — and they get to know you too, which makes the place feel even more special. My son and daughter-in-law consider it their local place to hang out, and it’s easy to see why — the atmosphere and vibe are fantastic. We celebrated my birthday here, and when it was time for us to return to Australia, the staff gave us such a beautiful send-off. If you’re in BGC, we highly recommend dropping in for a meal or a drink.

Yes, it's a bit pricey by Manila standards, but if you're coming from the U.S., you'd probably pay five times as much for a similar experience. The atmosphere is sophisticated without being pretentious, and the drinks are crafted with real skill. Pro tip: If you're a whiskey fan, order the Vieux Carré. It's smooth, complex, and just dangerous enough to have you contemplating a second one before you've finished the first. 😄🥃 Great cocktails, great ambiance, and one of the best spots in BGC when you're in the mood for a proper drink. 🍷🔥
