It was our first time to try Bistro Remedios and we had a great experience here. It has a nice homey Filipino ambiance and the staff were wonderful. The food was good and the execution of the dishes were well done. The ampalaya was nicely prepared that it wasn’t bitter. The sauce was mild and wasn’t overpowering. The grilled pork was tender and not overdone—just the right amount of char. The misua had a rich flavorful broth and was comforting. Leche flan was rich and dense but not too sweet. Drinks were refreshing and not too sweet either.

Great dinning experience at authentic Philippines cuisine resto in Manila last evening. The resto was the residential building before with latin interior design and architecture. All dishes are tasteful and delicious, great service and there was a busker group who performed inside the resto, kind of music live. 😀 The cuisines are fantastic, but I was impressed the most with Halo- Halo. Shaved ice with sweetened beans, fruits, and jelly: served with milk and ube ice cream. I will visit this resto again if possible on my next trip to Manila. Great job!!!

My partner and I had our very first dinner in the Philippines here — and we truly couldn’t have chosen better. In three weeks of travelling across the country, I never had a sizzling sisig as good as the one served here. Perfectly balanced, rich in flavour, and beautifully executed — it set the benchmark for the rest of our stay. My partner ordered the baby squids, which were absolutely delicious and probably the highlight of the meal. We also enjoyed the chicken and pork adobo, as well as the bistek (which perhaps could have been served slightly hotter, but was very flavourful nonetheless). To finish, I tried a local dessert recommended by our waiter that included corn — something I would normally associate with savoury dishes. It was an interesting and enjoyable discovery, and a nice introduction to the diversity of Filipino flavours. Totally recommended!

Atmosphere was very calming and relaxing. There's even fancy music playing. 🎶 Food is great! Been here before and it was very good. Back again, and it's still of high quality! Servers are generally attentive. I just wasn't given water, but I didn't ask, oops. I guess that means water is not automatic if you have another drink haha. But yeah, servers try their best to attend to your needs. Overall, it was great being back here.

Perfect as usual. One of the pillars in classic Filipino food and service, this restaurant is one of the pillar in Adriatico circle restaurants. A trio was providing entertainment with that old filipino harana charm. The foid was exxellebt as usual, the Paksiw ba Tilapia was nice and thw Adobo rice was one of the best i tried. The service by Gerald is impecabble ! I visited this before the pandemic but the food and service quality and old manila charm was still tops
