This is a typical local Portuguese restaurant, don’t expect anything fancy! Just good food, as a starter I had sardines paste and bread, the bread was delicious, fresh and was pairing perfectly with the sardines paste. The main dish had beef grilled to perfection and homemade chips for a 10er, dessert also delicious and fresh, I think was called egg pudding and was delicious! This is more authentic and not for typical tourists looking for burger and chips, service is discrete and welcoming. I would be back for sure

A local restaurant that seemed to be family run. Contrary to the name they have more than chicken on the menu. :) We tried a spinach soup, a really tasty chicken kabab that came with some incredibly yummy fried potato slices, and some equally yummy fried mackerel with tomato rice. A really hearty meal on a rainy day, wrapped up with some of the most delicious chocolate mousse I’ve ever had. The lady taking care of us was really sweet too.

We were looking for a quick meal close to our Airbnb and found Crazy Chicken. While there are some mixed reviews we decided to give it a shot. Ordered their fried mackerel with tomato rice and chicken skewers with potato chips and spinach soup. Loved every bit of our meal esp the fried chips. Their homemade chocolate mousse was outstanding too. Highly recommend going to this place which is popular among locals too.

Actually had a really good time. Food was amazing! *Beware there is no way of paying with a card* Had to come back next day and pay with cash! Had to explain I wanted to support locals, not run off with a free meal! Can definitely say they weren’t happy about me! Still recommend it! All my food and 2 beers came to €20.
