My number one restaurant in Leiria! Everything here just works — from the first smile when you walk in, to the friendly small talk at the table. And the food… wow. It starts with delicious warm bread and perfect butter, and then just gets better. We tried the octopus, the rib-eye steak, and the kids’ menu — every single dish was outstanding. The desserts are next level — especially the cheesecake, which is my absolute favourite. This was a very unexpected but positive surprise. The food had an amazing taste, and more than that, it was quite unique. For the starters we had shrimp and some tasty sauce to dip the bread. Then I had skirt steak with a side that was quite good, don't ask me what it was 😂. Then the most surprising part was the desserts, a mix of Portuguese cuisine with modern cuisine. Never had olive oil on a dessert but it was interesting.

It's the 3rd time I've visited Foco and it was great every time! Great atmosphere, great service and food! You get to watch the chef cook your food on coals and the hostess helped us find the perfect wine to match with the food. What a gem Leiria has! Totally worth the detour!
