Almeja truly deserves its Michelin stars for 2023, 2024, and 2025. The food quality was excellent, every dish felt fresh, flavorful, and carefully made. The wine selection was also very good and paired perfectly with the meal. What made the experience even better was the service; warm, attentive, and professional without feeling too formal. The ambiance is calm, cozy, and relaxed, with a homey feeling that makes you want to stay longer and enjoy the evening. A beautiful dining experience in Porto and definitely a place worth visiting.

The wine list is also fantastic, both in terms of the selection and the fact that they’ve split the wines into aged and non-aged sections, which I never seen before but found extremely useful and smart. Finally, the staff were great: f

We had an incredible lunch experience at Almeja, opting for their 10 Moments menu, and it did not disappoint. Every course was meticulously crafted, bringing out bold and refined flavors that showcased both creativity and technical skill. Each dish felt like a thoughtfully curated experience rather than just a meal. The service was truly exceptional—attentive without being intrusive. Small gestures, like ensuring our water glasses were always full and even bringing me a purse hanger when they noticed my bag had fallen, made a lasting impression. It’s these details that elevate a great restaur
