We found this place while walking around, hidden in a narrow street. It seems to be authentic local Galician food. We ordered Pulpo which was delicious. If you’re looking for an authentic flavor in the midst of a tourist area in La Coruña this is a good choice!

Arroz Negro is what I had and it’s cooked perfectly. The pulpo a la Gallega tastes fresh and tender. (I swear I wouldn’t have left A Coruña if I didn’t eat my arroz negro!!)

We were recommended this place by a local and couldn't have been happier. The service was great and the food excellent. We ordered the €50 option of a seafood tray and it was very nice indeed. Some of the options would never have have made it to my table if not included in the tray, but it was all delicious. Would definitely recommend O'taranga, but be sure to get the early as many people were disappointed because there was no space left for them. A great selection and choice of foods, from soups to rice dishes and steaks. Prices on the €€€ side, expected in the centre and so close to Plz
