A neighborhood bar in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento (Town Hall Square). The staff were very friendly and helpful. They served us a pretty good potato salad tapa and some tasty olives. A quiet and pleasant place.

It was a lovely day in Aranjuez, and we decided to stop for lunch at El Dorado—a bad idea. We'd just come from a pleasant visit to the Palace and were starving, so we decided to try this place, a well-located spot that didn't seem too bad. But, my friends, appearances can be deceiving.
