The food was excellent; we loved all the dishes, which were varied and the portions were just right. Their tinto de verano (red wine and lemonade) was delicious. The service was friendly and very professional; you can tell they know their stuff. We also appreciated the pacharán (sloe liqueur) to finish the meal. "La Alegría" is well located in Aranjuez, and its dining room is pleasant.

We stumbled upon it completely by chance, and it was a great find. From the moment you walk in, you know you're going to eat home-cooked food (it's like stepping into your grandmother's dining room), but you can't imagine how delicious it will all be. We ordered the set menu for €17, and after eating, it seemed like a bargain. We started with chickpeas with prawns, absolutely delicious, and the entrecote was cooked to perfection—it was so tender it melted in your mouth. For dessert, we had a custard like something from Flanín el Niño or Potax that if someone had told me my grandmother made it,

A nice restaurant at the entrance to Aranjuez with tablecloths and cloth napkins. The dining room isn't too big, which makes for a pleasant experience because it's quiet. The daily special includes a drink, dessert, and coffee. Everything is well-cooked and made with good ingredients. The service is quick and very friendly. Definitely recommended.
