John Ritchey★Absolutely terrible. They have no clue what authentic Cuba food is. The tostones were dry, over cooked and cut up in squares! Really?? The Yuca was dry, cold and hard as a rock. We asked for a fresh order. It was dry and cold but a little softer. The pork had no flavor and appeared to have been prepared yesterday and served today. The server/manager was not friendly, did not offer to rectify the situation, and just simply did not care. I would be amazed if they stay in business with food and service like this. Not recommended. Don't waste your money. Keep looking. I've eaten Cuban food
Manuel Gonzalez Vazquez★★★★Overall, the experience was satisfactory, with a few areas that could be enhanced to make it truly exceptional. We had a family dinner. The food was generally tasty, and the portions were reasonable in size. We ordered the following dishes: - Cóctel de camarones “Al son de Cuba” (Shrimp cocktail “Al son de Cuba”): This was a large portion of tasty shrimp with plenty of fresh fruit. It was highly recommended. - Yuca frita (Fried cassava): This was a mixed experience. Our first order was tasty and well-cooked, but our second order was undercooked and mostly raw inside. - Polo Barbacoa (BBQ Chick
Christelle Van Sebroeck★★★★★We had an amazing dining experience here. As we walked in, we were welcomed in a very friendly manner and the food in the restaurant smelled amazing. The food itself was incredible! Every plate was very well served, with large portions, good presentation and excellent taste, whilst still having a great homey feeling. Atmosphere and service were also great. I can highly recommend!
David Pham★★★A good value restaurant near Atocha station if you're craving some Cuban food, but I thought the food was underwhelming. I came here for lunch with my friend after arriving in Madrid and we ordered the menu del dia ($15 euros per person). It comes with a big salad to share, a main dish, a drink, and dessert. Everything was just okay, but my main dish (the ropavieja) was way too salty. Even after mixing it with a lot of rice and salad, it was overseasoned. The staff was nice and terrace seating was okay (although it is an extra 10% fee), but all in all, very average experience.
