I visit the place in a working meeting Initially, I was looking for Avila’s most famous Chuletón, however I decided to taste the solomillo al humo, which was extremely good, together with a red wine La Hormiga Steak was juicy and tasty, I asked “Al punto menos” For dessert, a cheese cake was sweet and soft. very good experience visiting this place

Best dish was the egg, potato and prawns really well crafted, the beans were nice but nothing special. However the steak 750gram chuleton was terrible. Very poor quality it was mostly gristle. Not a place for steak. Service one waiter (tall) was poor, other waiter who wore glasses was much better. A super location but the atmosphere was average

Expensive! 10€ for bread, 10€ for water, 10% added to your bill if you eat outside! 18€ for 4 meatballs that were far from gourmet. This is a restaurant that’s a 3 dressed up as a 9. Service was excellent from our server, but 120€ for lunch, I was expecting better food. Who pays for bread with a meal

We were blown away by the value for money. Everything tasted really good and the price was very reasonable. Their Chuleton would’ve easily fetched £100 in London. It’s probably one of the best steak I’ve ever had and I’m not even big on steaks. Their omelette with crisp Iberico ham was seasoned very well and their vegetable tempura with molasses was such a revelation. I highly recommend this restaurant. Just to add as well, as most restaurants in Avila, they close at 16:00. We arrived 15:15 and stayed until almost 17:00. They even allowed us to have desserts. Oh and just to add to the steak as
