I had an amazing dinner in the Azabache restaurant. The place is great. The staff is welcoming. The other guests were all local people. The food was superb (I had cod in Azabache dip). They have a variety of local drinks. I would highly recomend it if in Badajoz. The portions are huge.

Delicious food. Excellent quality Iberian cured meats. Pleasant to sit on the terrace. Even though it was raining, it was comfortable; they have heating. The service was a bit impersonal, perhaps because they're very busy at this time of year. I'll return when things are quieter to enjoy a better experience.
