In two words: utterly disappointing. Let me tell you why: We had made a reservation at 10.15pm for two people. We got in, greeted and seated almost immediately in the upstairs area to the right of the kitchen. The place where we were was cozy and comfortable. A waiter brings us the menu and after some time they come to take our order (all good until here). As we tell the waiter what we want, a manager (I assume he was a manager since the waiter only looked at us apologetically) whooshes in and commands the waiter that we are to be moved immediately to a different sitting area. This place has good meat. Amazing olives. Nice view. Gets busy after 8:30-9. Staff is hit or miss. But overall a nice place if you want a good chunk of meat. Got the short ribs and they were great. Fatty cut so if you like that try it. Flank steak was good. Got the meat platter also huge portion more like for 3 people not 2. Everything but the blood sausage was great. Not a fan of blood sausage. They have an upper terrace that gives a nice view.

We really enjoyed eating at Baires. We split a few plates- gnocchi, chicken milanesa, and the meats for two. Everything was delicious. The steak platter was fun and it was nice to try so many different meats. The chicken was tender and the steaks were juicy and flavorful. We will definitely be back! Our server was really fun and nice!! We will definitely be back.

Lovely place, that gives you the feeling that you're visiting someone's home. Very well served dishes of meat with homemade alioli, and the homemade dulce de leche coulant is probably the thing that surprised me the most. It's a bit noisy inside, but they have a couple of tables outside. I'll hopefully come back!
