A perfect Cádiz evening with something for everyone We had a wonderful dinner at Mesón Criollo in Cádiz, enjoying relaxed sidewalk dining along a lively pedestrian avenue. The atmosphere is ideal for soaking in the city while lingering over a great meal. The menu offers an appealing mix of fresh seafood and Argentine-style meats, making it easy to find something for every taste. Well located restaurant with serious noise, inside and outside. It is advertised as Argentinan restaurant, however, meat is of poor quality and the menu is mainly local fish. Fish quality is nice, nevertheless, they have products out of the menu without showing a clear price. At the end we spent over 300 euros and we felt scammed. We tried to argue with the owner as he was selling bolandeiras as vieras with a high overprice. The discussion went bad and we ended paying to stop the owner threats. Experience not recommended, only if you want to be pissed the rest of the day. **Tourist trap**

The waiters were friendly and they all speak good English, although I personally think everybody should make some effort to speak the local language. We ordered boquerones fritos(deep fried anchovies), papas aliñás(potato salad with tinned tuna), tortillas de camarones(shrimp pancake), and chocolate a la plancha(grilled cuttlefish). We were just two of us and we were quite full after that. We they also have a god selection of sherry. We drank two glasses of dry Oroloso each and they were perfect with the food.
