This hidden gem quickly has quickly become my #1 place. The coffees are super smooth. I've had a hard time finding a cafe in Madrid that the coffee doesn't taste too acidic; this place definitely knows how to prepare it with the right balance :) The creamy tortilla was also a highlight. It was so good that I instantly ordered it again. It was also so well balanced; not too runny but also not over cooked. Pote is a neighbourhood bar serving breakfast and all-day tapas and sandwiches in a bright place with kind service. Great tortilla (Spanish omelet), some natural wines, artisan smoothies and good coffee.

I love the concept of POTE. Good food and coffee, natural wines and a cosy vibe. For me, what stands out here is the tortilla, which is one of the best in Madrid. The sourdough bread served with it is excellent too

This is a nice little restaurant however even though the food is tasty 14€ for a taco is way over priced. 2 Tacos and 2 beers for €35 is a high price to pay for small portions of food. We were recommended this place for it's tortillas but the night we arrived the menu only had 4 tacos which was totally unexpected. Be clear on what you are selling. To be honest 14€ for a taco it's not worth it. Unfortunately given the prices won't be returning to try the tortilla which is probably going to cost €14 for eggs and potatoes
