This is the best food I had in Gijón. They make a certain amount of food for lunch and serve it until they run out. The first few days, I was too late and they had already run out. Thankfully I was able to get a spot before I left. So glad. The food and service were incredible, and for a great price. No other menu del dia compares.

This place was across the street from our Airbnb, so we stopped in one rainy day for lunch. It was a holiday, so instead of the normal 3 course meal, they offered a 5 course meal for 22€ I think it was. While those around us didn’t make it to the 5th course, we paced ourselves so we could try everything. All the food was so delicious! I especially loved the seafood soup and fabada. The owner was super smiley and friendly too. The place is small, so you should probably make a reservation, but you won’t regret coming here!
