Located in the beautiful Plaça de la Independència, it offers incredibly quick service and plenty of seating, both in their modern interior and on the large terrace. The menu has options for everyone: from a simple pan de queso and coffee for a light start, to more 'energetic' options like their famous sandwiches and local beers. You can even enjoy a full meal of salmon and wine for a great price. It’s the perfect, reliable spot for any time of day.

Great beer in a classic Girona setting. We had a really pleasant time at König 2 in Plaça Independència. The big outdoor terrace is perfect for a relaxed meal in the heart of one of Girona’s liveliest squares, especially on a February evening with a dog by your side — staff seemed happy to accommodate us. Service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend it for a casual drink or bite outdoors in the square. The beer selection was excellent, with some nice local and international brews that paired perfectly with our tapas and 🍔 hamburgers,

This location is right in front of the basilica, around the corner from the cathedral and the side road that takes you to the Arab baths, and just north of the Jewish quarter. So a perfect place to grab a cold drink and a little tapas in the middle of exploring the old town. Everyone has to come to König once when visiting Girona.
