This is, without doubt, the most wonderful place we visited in Barcelona. I went twice in 3 days kind of awesome. The staff are amazingly attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. I felt like I was at home, with my Mexican grandmother stuffing food down my face...and loving every minute. I was immediately made to feel like family. Great bottles. Exquisite tapas and Bellota. Decor is cozy and inviting. Really though, I just couldn't get my head around the smiles I received all night long. Next trip out, I've promised to stop in for arroz and I've got the feeling I'll really let them down if I don't

Even though the servers didnt speak english they tried their hardest to accommodate us. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was interesting it was a football evening, so as a tourist to see locals so into the game was something totally different.

This is a quiet and unassuming place right across from the train station. The octopus hake (Basque style), garlic prawns, and cuttlefish are really good. Their bread with tomato and garlic is so simple, yet delicious. Must visit.
