Very disappointed with my experience at Panaceite. We found this restaurant on a pit stop through Jaén and loved that we could sit outside and enjoy the sun. I tried the local beer and loved it! The food was mediocre at best. Not a lot of flavor on mine and my wife had the sirloin steak which came out cold and had zero flavor. The biggest issue was with service. It took awhile for us to get a waiter to take our order. Sirloin was cold, and potatoes had a bug on it. (See second photo) When I told the server he said “maybe it fell from the tree” and proceeded to walk off and not give us our check for upwards of 30 minutes. I will not be returning and would have preferred to eat at McDonald’s.
