A very pleasant surprise. We stopped by Linares on the way to Madrid and happened to find this place by accident. An interesting menu with a fantastic modern twist and excellent ingredients. To top it all, we had super friendly service by Cristina. We will certainly make more stops here when travelling between Madrid and south of Spain.

To be honest, the manager seemed a bit overwhelmed at first, and the service wasn't great. She was rather rude and rushed when taking our order, leaving us hanging and rushing off to attend to other tables. She was also rude, saying they were out of tapas and that they only had what was on the menu, period. The table service was poor, the waiters inexperienced, and the manager was scolding them in full view of everyone. We ate there today, January 6th, and the restaurant was fully booked. We arrived with our reservation, and the waiter seated us at a table by the door, even though there were other tables for two inside. We asked if we could move, and he said he was going to put the tables together because it was a four-person table. But a little while later, a reservation for two arrived, and we realized what he had told us wasn't true. We called the waitress (Cristina), and she very kindly moved us to a table further inside.
