Was walking around the city and stumbled upon this gem! Was attracted by the design and decoration and even though the restaurant was fully booked, they gave me a spot at the bar! Had the guacamole to start and it was delicious! Couldn’t make up my mind between the Pastor and the Birria tacos so I ordered both! Will definitely be back!

This place is the one, when you are in the North of Spain craving Mexican cuisine !!! We had such a wonderful evening at la Difunta trying everything on the menu. Not only the food but also the grand selection of quality Tequila made this a very special evening. The chef Dani came out of the kitchen to ask if everything was ok. This is exactly the service that will make this evening one of the most memorable experiences we had on our holiday in the Rioja region. A MUST GO !!!!
