Always was my go to café for a beer and tapas with a friend in Lugo and to be fair the waitresses were always fine. Buy the drink tapas free. Went today with son for a coffee. Every other client got a small cake plate with their coffee. Our surly waiter brought us nothing. Yes we are English but lived here 20 years and bilingual so the treatment should be no different. We left feeling we weren't welcome, maybe they thought we were the dreaded "tourists" but it's a shame as I go to Lugo regularly but will now find an alternative place to take my coffee or beer when I'm out.

Having recently acquired a wheelchair for my 90 year old mother I was surprised how few Lugo cafes are accessible. Not only is this cafe fully accessible with plenty of space inside, but it is friendly, the coffee is excellent, as is the tea. And the tapas are fabulous. Highly recommended, wheelchair user or not
