If you, like me, prefer a hot and generous breakfast instead of the typical a coffee/croissant Spanish breakfast, this is a great option. For around 11 € you get a decent meal plus a drink. I got in right before 1pm craving breakfast and they did not disappoint. They're quick and practical and the price feels more than fair considering you're essentially on the Gran Via. I honestly can't understand people complaining about the prices when everything around is more expensive. All in, I've found a new go-to breakfast place by La Gran Via.

had a pretty mixed experience here. The food itself was okay—nothing particularly memorable, but not bad either. Unfortunately, the service really let the place down. We were asked to pay upfront before even sitting down, which felt a bit odd—especially since I noticed other customers having their orders taken and only paying when they left. It didn’t feel very consistent or fair. After we sat at a regular table, we were then asked to move to a smaller two-person table, even though the café wasn’t full at the time. I stopped at this café and I was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered a cappuccino and churros, but neither the taste nor the quality were good. The most unpleasant part: I was the only customer who was asked to pay before being served. I watched several other customers arrive after me, get served normally, and only pay when they left. It made me feel very uncomfortable, and I felt I was treated differently without any explanation. For that reason, I do not recommend this café.
