OMG, this was my first time in Málaga and I was looking for something traditional to eat when I stumbled upon this place just by walking by. Even though I’m fluent in Spanish, I still didn’t understand a good portion of the menu lol, so I asked the server for recommendations and wow! The portions were generous, the prices were cheaper than I expected, and the food was really good. I honestly wanted to try more dishes after seeing what other tables ordered, but I was already completely full. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

We went here for dinner and waited for around 30 minutes.. it’s quite popular in the city. The menu is in different languages which is great, but the translation version from Spanish is a little bit strange. There are a bunch of options for tapas and pinchos. We ordered some traditional food and they were tasty ;) The service here was a bit confusing that some staff only was responsible for ordering; or for serving; or for the bill .. and it took quite a while for ordering, and paying the bill.

I really don’t get the hype. This was our worst dining experience in 3 days of eating out in Malaga. We didn’t wait too long to be seated at the bar, but it was a big issue when we moved to a table that opened up right next to us while we were still waiting for our order to be taken. Ended up waiting about 15 minutes until someone took our order. Drinks were served by someone who just dumped them on the table with a bang. Traditional tapas bar. Average food, very salty. Do NOT recommend Callos de Ronda and grilled octopus (not fresh octopus). Avoid peak hours as very crowded hence long queue but not worth it!
