Niccia is well known for its pasta dishes, but we decided to order a selection of starters and have them tapas style and it worked out perfectly. The food was absolutely excellent, every dish was full of flavour and really well prepared. The service was really good too. Delicious food using fresh and local ingredients. Toasted aubergine with pistachio was tasty - rich with carmelised sugar dressing and a large serving; the fried burrata had gorgeous soft focaccia, fresh tomatoes and local olive oil. The octupus and smashed potatoes were a treat - seasoned beautifully, just the right amount of octopus for the potato with a dressing of onion and tomato beneath. Burrata salad was filled with fresh juicy tomatoes, soft cheese,, cherry tomato and fresh rocket. Limited vegetarian options (one main) would be the only gripe but the alternatives left empty plates!

The Italian restaurant delivered an excellent overall experience, with both service and food standing out. The spicy potatoes and mushroom croquettes were absolutely incredible—bursting with flavor and tasting wonderfully fresh. The pasta was also very enjoyable, well-seasoned and satisfying. The only slight disappointment was the Caesar salad, which felt a bit bland and could have used a more flavorful dressing. I would definitely recommend it—the décor is lovely, and it’s easily accessible in Malaga. Overall, a great dining experience!
