After reading many positive reviews, we decided to visit this restaurant, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. From the very beginning, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. Before we had even sat down, the waitress asked whether we intended to eat or just sit, which immediately made us feel uncomfortable. We were informed that the pizzas and all dishes were handmade. Sadly, this did not reflect what we were served. The food appeared and tasted like typical frozen, mass-produced meals. Three for lunch on a busy day in Mijas. This was a really authentic Spanish restaurant so, of course, food arrives when it's ready (like Spanish restaurants do), the menu was in several languages with all of the traditional dishes. We had patatas bravas, merluza and the house salad between two & couldn't eat it all. The other dish was albondigas (meatballs) that we asked about & they certainly know their stuff. Yummy. The staff appeared to all be Spanish (which is nice) and were very efficient.

In Mijas for the day, I literally picked this restaurant based on the Google maps reviews and boy it did not disappoint! Our server was friendly and efficient, the menu was substantial but not overwhelming and literally every dish that passed by our table looked so wonderful and tasty. My friend and I both went with a simple choice of spaghetti bolognese with cheesy garlic bread .... WOW! The spaghetti was perfectly al dente, the sauce was rich and meaty and the garlic bread was probably the nicest I've ever had. The cheese was creamy and sharp and the bread was soft and so garlicky!
