As an aspiring chef my son chose this restaurant to celebrate his birthday. We chose the Saba tasting menu with wine flight. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Service was amazing; the sommelier was fantastic describing each wine wonderfully. The food was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. Every dish was beautiful too. If you are looking for an incredible dining experience while in Valencia it is well worth the journey to Arrels in Sagunt.

Fine dining in an old historical building in the city center of Sagunto. The restaurant has a Michelin star when we ate there so dress up and expect to spend the full evening there. They have a fixed menu with multiple courses. Each one more beautiful than the other.

You only can book a table over the Internet so the restaurant can have the data of your credit card as a deposit in case you don't appear. Which I personally find a fair regulation. You choose a menu without actually knowing what you will get. I post the menu SABA in the pictures so you can inform yourself without being surprised ;-) I will also upload the bill - in the evening the freshly baked bread and olive oil are included. All in all a wonderful experience getting better the further the dinner goes. The recommended Spanish wines were also great. The 3 deserts at the end were kind

We had the tasting menu of 135euro, with 95 euro wine pairing, for lunch. It was amazing. So experimental, unique, fun, for food and wine. I have never had white wines with tastings like so. It was fun and interesting, some being fortified wine tasting like brandy, some being sweet and sour, very different from fruity and citrusy wine I have had in spain. I am thankful for the sommelier who got all these different types of unique wine for me to try. We loved it. The place is cozy and nice, with a great ambiance.
