Tarragona has many good tables to offer, but this restaurant leads the pack ! It is "just" recommended by Michelin, but I would say it deserves at least 1 star for sure ! Atmosphere, service and food were all of the highest professional standards, with a twist of Tarragona legendary hospitality. We chose a degustation menu and every step (there were many !) was a tasty discovery, cooked to perfection, served at the right temperature and proposed in the right sequence. Just go and taste by yourself !

Food for eyes: looks beautiful, nice descriptions, but my mouth disagrees. Not bad food, just nothing memorable. If I had to pick something to repeat, I would take the bread. Asked for tap water - when poured from the restaurant bottle into ceramic mug, it costs 3.90, ridiculous.

Fine dining lunch tasting menu, right in the centre of town. Professional from start to finish, efficient approach to service...once you select your menu, the dishes keep coming. Each dish is a sight to behold and a marvel of flavour and texture. Our menu had a great variety of produce, favouring fish, which was delicately marinated or cooked to perfection. Beef was included and was as flavoursome and tender as I've ever had. I'd highly recommend a visit. The food here, except for rather insipidly bland raw prawn starter, was exceptional, definitely 1 star Michelin quality. Some dishes, especially 2 sets of amuse bouche, pre-dessert - all 2 star material. What lets down this amazing food is rather dull dining room (it's neither funki modern to explain lack of any details to grab onto, nor cosy in any way, facilities, like toilets with diluted soap (!) that sprays everywhere because it's so diluted, seriously, with people paying minimum €85 per menu you economise on €5 soap?!), that and overstretched service. Service simply doesn't match the foo
