First night in town, tired from traveling, running mostly on curiosity and hunger and this place landed like a gift. And I was the lucky one to pick the first dinner. Dinner here was incredible. What happened to the Il Capannone restaurant in ( Mendez Nuñes )Tarragona? For the last three years have visited this restaurant twice a week when we have been in town. Always good service, Tarragona's nicest waiter always greeted us with a smile. Olives came to the table, as did the wine, he knew what we wanted. We visited the restaurant once last week, then there was a completely different staff there, they had the same wine list, but they didn't have the wine that was on there. I think I am in Beef Carpaccio Heaven. This is the best beef Carpaccio I’ve ever had.( I ordered second and finished all by myself) The burrata avocado salad was more of stracciatella than burrata, REALLY good. The pasta is fresh.
