This is my first time ordering from Bar Peñate e Hija. The girls, both Pino and Pepi, gave me great advice over the phone. They made the sandwiches really fast, and I went to pick them up. The bread is from a well-known bakery; they've been making them for a while now, but the octopus and squid are still good. They're tender, though. There should be a little more octopus and squid, but it's definitely in my top three squid sandwiches on the island. It reminded me of a sandwich they used to make in the quarries. We went for dinner tonight. The service was excellent. We ordered a portion of Saharan squid and half a portion of fried octopus. Everything was delicious. The squid was tender and flavorful, fried to perfection. I was particularly surprised by the fried baby octopus, served with wrinkled potatoes and the mojo sauce (which I ordered separately due to my garlic allergy). They were very accommodating and offered me alternatives I could eat. Paying attention to these details is very important to me. Everything was absolutely delicious, and we'll definitely be back.

A regular spot. For me, the calamari and fried pork are a classic. A place for small gatherings with good food. A quiet place, friendly service, and attentive staff. A simple menu that always works, and you can always ask about other options they have off-menu. Other things to note are its cleanliness and the lack of unpleasant faces, which make it a more pleasant experience.
