I had the most amazing experience. I made unexpected friends and ate some of the best food I've ever eaten. The meat is tender and moist. The curry (roux? gravy?) is spicy but sweet. The staff were amazing. It's one of those places that you go that everyone goes to get away from the tourists. A beautiful cafe along a beautiful road along a beautiful river along a beautiful..... You get the idea.

Popped in for lunch when we had an overnight stay in Toledo. A little off the tourist route but nor difficult to find & plenty of road parking. Great vibe & very helpful, cheerful staff. Fabulous menu & good selection of beers/wine. The Manchego cheesecake is to die for 👌

Found this local place by accident. Came in alone and sat at the bar. Amazing hospitality, families packed the place. Spoke with broken Spanish and hand gestures. The food was perfect. I had a mixed salad which was simply supreme and a manchego cheese bocadillo. Simple and perfect with a local draft beer. Definitely 5/5

Kitchen is open for some tables but not for us. We were only offered croquettes which lacked a bit of seasoning. Staff weren’t very friendly.
