Brilliant beer on the corner of the plaza. Old people like me just like a beer on the afternoon and I'm glad to say I'm not alone. The bars around this square are full of people of all ages and the pla,a has kids running around and old people doing the 100m at their own pace with their walking aids. What a brilliant and vibrant city. I am a lucky guy to have wandered into town for the afternoon and I will do it again. The people on the bar made me feel welcome and I can sit here and smile and think how much the north of Spain reminds me of Scotland. The pipes in Galicia and the smiles in Canta

The food is delicious, the price is very reasonable for being in the center of Torrelavega, the place is pleasant, and the service is courteous... what more could you ask for? Unless you spend every day going from one five-star restaurant to another, you think you're a culinary expert, a master of etiquette, and you couldn't care less that people are working, not worshipping you. I'll be back without hesitation.

Great place for a bite to eat, reasonably priced, in the center of Torrelavega, next to the wine district. Friendly and attentive service. We ordered a platter and a portion of food, a beer, a calimocho (red wine and cola), a juice, a soft drink, and three coffees, and paid €34. Varied menu, I recommend it.
