We are visiting Basel from Chicago. Our friend brought us to this restaurant, saying he likes this place since he was a college student. We were not too hungry, but the place itself, location, and the atmosphere were very pleasant and decided to dine at the table outside. We ordered three different tapa plates. All three were super delicious with excellent presentation. Service was very good. All people at surrounding tables had a great time and enjoyed their meal. I wish we could visit Basel more often and make this place our regular. Thank you for pleasant evening!

Quaint and genuine, this cozy spot boasts a carefully crafted menu featuring a variety of dishes with giblets. While all our selections were outstanding and the service was top-notch, the only drawback was the lengthy wait for each dish. Nonetheless, I'd gladly return anytime. Much appreciated!

While this restaurant is very quaint and cozy, I can only give it one star because my husband got food poisoning from the pork cordon blue. He lost a day and a half of our vacation recovering in the hotel room! My mom and I had the butternut soup and my sister had the goat cheese dish, all three were just ok. I know it's Switzerland but I felt it was pricey and the service was extremely slow.

Just popped on as it was on the same street as our hotel. Lovely cozy atmosphere, like a candle lit tavern. Menu seemed pretty expensive, but everything in Switzerland seemed to be for us. Service was prompt and friendly, burger and scalloped potatoes were divine.
