Great place for a nice breakfast. You can go simple or you can go all in nevertheless both is amazing since they are for a large variety on croissant and other food. The toast with Akenham is nice, but also the granola or the porridge. The shop and shop concept keeps the place interesting.

The croissant and the coffee were amazing. This is the thing you want to get here. I only gave 4 starts because of the avocado toast.... So the toast was with poached egg... is was first of all cold, egg was overcooked (not runny inside), and the toast was also cold and the "avocado" was not sliced avocado but an avocado paste (kind like guacamole) which was too cisrusy. And definitely not worth 17 CHF (for such a small toast??!?). Still service and atmosphere were nice.

The quality of the food is genuinely shocking. I ordered a salmon bagel with a completely soggy bun filled with mushy vegetables, it tasted stale and watery. My boyfriend ordered pasta that looked terrible. The bacon was grey, covered in grease, and the whole dish looked like canned food. He ate a few bites and felt sick for the rest of the day. This is genuinely some of the worst food we’ve ever had. For the prices charged here, you would at least expect edible food.

Finally some good cappuccino and pastries in Lugano. I have tried so many places and typically the coffee and the pistachio croissants are quite bad. This place is indeed an exception: everything was great, highly recommended spot!
