If you're looking for a 100% reliable breakfast spot in Lucerne where it's almost impossible to go wrong, Melissa Kitchen is the place to be. The restaurant offers both à la carte and buffet options, making it suitable for every kind of breakfast preference. The space itself is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of seating available even for larger groups. I tried the Melissa Kitchen English Breakfast, a two-egg omelette, cappuccino, and their house hot chocolate. Honestly, everything was amazing—truly amazing. The English breakfast was hearty, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.

Excellent experience. The mixed salad was beautiful and delicious, and it had a wide variety of greens with it. The quiche was nicely rich and had a great crust as well. The inside is open and the decorations have a very light, fresh feel. The coffee was good, but unfortunately expensive (not more than regular swiss coffee prices though). The service was excellent and very polite.

Had a wonderful breakfast here on a Wednesday morning around 9:00. Not busy was easy to get a table. Patricia was our server and she was great. Coffee was amazing. Omelette and bagels were just right. Pancakes were super fluffy. If you are looking for a good place to enjoy breakfast I would put this at the top of your list.

You cannot miss having breakfast at this cozy restaurant. It was so good we came twice. Nick was an amazing host and shared great banter with us. The food was delicious! We had yummy pastries. The English breakfast was a highlight. We loved the pancake with banana and chocolate😍. The bagels🥯 were tasty as well with fresh vegetables. Produce and other ingredients in the restaurant are sourced from family owned companies.
