This bar is on the second floor of a run down market, but it's worth the trek! The bartender didn't speak much English, but it was sort of fun collaborating on a cocktail over Google translate. Since there's no menu, he asks your preferences, has you smell a few options, and lovingly crafts a custom cocktail for you. All of our cocktails were delicious and beautiful. One of the most unique cocktail bars I've ever been to! There are only about 8 seats at the bar, so reservation recommended at prime times.

Outstanding cocktails in a super cozy but hard-to-fund bar. You have to go upstairs in this building in the market and in this non-descript shop. Ask around if you can't find it. It's worth a visit for excellent gin cocktails. The bartender is super knowledgeable. Oh the decor is super cute inside too. Very nostalgic with soft lighting. Very chill and relaxing.

Amazing little bar that's clearly a passion project, with a huge, varied selection of gins. The bartender asks what kind of tastes you like and whips your drink up from there. (We used Google translate to help!) He's a skilled mixologist and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. To get there you need to go to the 2nd floor of the #123 building, then find #225.

This gin bar is truly a wonderful hidden gem! One of the top bars during my trip in Tainan. The drinks are expertly crafted and delicious. There is no menu provided, so the approach is that the bartender will have a conversation with customers to get an understanding of your flavour preferences and alcohol tolerance. The atmosphere of the bar is well-moderated, and the customers were respectful to the staff and quiet so as to maintain the chill vibe of the bar. The location is a little hard to find as it is inside the building and on the second level. I would suggest to focus on looking at the unit number to ensure you’re on the right track. The toilet is located separately outside the bar along the corridor, but it is very clean and well-maintained.
