This cafe is so cute and the service is excellent, not to mention their extensive menu of teas and cakes. The owner Jessica is super friendly and was eager to chat with me. I wish I could come here every day to sip tea and read a good book. They have A/C so it’s a great spot to escape the Tainan heat. 謝謝你們！☺️

The cutest little cafe in Tainan that we found by accident. We didn't order any food as we just called in to get out of the heat of the day. Friendly owner and great cool drinks on a hot day. Old world charm down a very narrow alley in the wall. This is not a place to take prams/wheelchairs as the access is very (very) limited to walk in only - not going to lie, not everyone will fit in the width of this ally-way. It's aprox 38cm wide.

You walk through the titular narrow corridor and reach this hidden gem. The cinematic entrance offers good opportunities for photos. Upstairs, you are transported to a quaint , 1989 setting. I was greeted by a warm barista who brewed coffee the old fashion way. I had a Mandheling that was flavourful and smooth but not too bitter.

What a special experience this was! Couldn’t pass up the Narrow Door once my husband pointed it out. We entered this charming cafe and had two Irish Coffees and a Cheesecake. Reading on the menu about the origins of the cafe and the effort to allow for a small passageway to ensure access was really impressive!! Best of all, we had an opportunity to meet Jessica, the founder, on our way out and thank her for the experience. Do NOT pass this up!!
