An interesting diner / coffee shop, opens late in the weekends, on Xingyi Road in Xingyi district, steps away from Taipei101. Wasn’t that impressive at the first time back in 2020, the place was packed with groups of people who were loud and noisy, kitchen was jammed with orders, therefore food tasted bland and under seasoned. Returned tonight and YES, it was a much better dining experience, not only the cakes were very homey, beverages were fragrant and tasty, but also servers were all well trained and friendly, they know their menu, and offer recommendations, very helpful. Love the atmosphere, if you’re into a laidback, public school-ish decor, only the plywood dining chairs are a bit annoying due to they flipped easily if you’re sitting on the edge of its seat.

This is such a great spot! Definitely a more Western cafe style and food, and seems to be on the more expensive side of the local options. The food was excellent, the service was good, and the the vibes were very chill. We came here a few times for breakfast, and it was definitely a happening spot for Saturday brunch. We really liked that there were a lot of options, and it was helpful for us that the menu had English translations. There's seating upstairs and downstairs, and the upstairs is open to the air with a little balcony. This place is also super convenient to the Taipei 101 area.

Was expecting very Australian dishes like sausage rolls / great ozzie meat pies etc... but sadly no. Just an average fusion dishes with thai curries / malay skewers / taiwanese tofu dishes. Price is pretty steep especially the last page of the menu (YIKES) Don't get wrong food tasted good but its not worth the hype. Size isn't generous either (my photos were taken close up hence it looks big) especially the salads. Service was ok. Just don't understand why waiter has to hand over their dishes over our faces whilst we are chatting away socially and not go around our back where there are plenty of space and remembers our individual orders especially at an established restaurant setting?! Great ambience and coffee but average food and service wise. Sorry for my honest review but i hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity of improvement thank you.

Disappointing overpriced way-too-salty food served in small portions with very slow service. Too much vinegary dressing ruined the tiny NTD 250 green salad, and I could not finish the pasta, which took the kitchen 30 minutes to prepare, because of the enormous amount of salt. The chef is not tasting the food he prepares or does not understand the concept of subtlety, which is required at these prices.

Not particularly vegetarian-friendly—more suited for those who are okay with onion and garlic. (Not quite Buddhist vegetarian friendly.) The sourdough with mushrooms and scrambled egg was fine, but fairly plain—nothing memorable. The open burger on toasted bread was excellent—the toast itself was perfectly done. However, the spoonful of sauce felt a bit excessive, especially since the avocado already added enough creaminess. The sweet potato dish was a bit confusing in terms of flavor profile, and even after we asked about ingredients, it still came with onions. The fig salad was a piece of art—beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. We loved the freshness and the well-balanced flavors. The spicy boiled egg on sourdough was quite creative—rich and flavorful. I'm usually not a fan of sesame-based sauces, but this one worked surprisingly well for me. Overall, some hits and misses.

Here we are; the place is industrial uber cool could be in Wooloomooloo 🦘 Some of the seating details bug me like the communal table centre stage is just too big and makes sitting along the grubby (yeah sorry needs replacing) lounge just too tight, but alas it’s a cool room🦘 It’s around 10am the menu looks impressive a great menu exciting and new not so many vegetarian options so I go for the tofu dish, my companion the poached eggs + szechuan sauce w toast YAY we are happy. But………. no tofu 🤔 today. It’s the start of the day just walked through the street market laden with fresh tofu 🤫 ok; move on expectations are high as the joint looks and sounds (on paper) great 😊 I ask would it be possible for the kitchen to ‘fry’ me the two eggs that are usually served poached with the szechuan 🍳 Now it ain’t busy there are more staff than punters at this point, my latte came lukewarm when I especially asked for very hot (uncool I know) that’s ok the waitstaff still eating her breakfast too

One of our favorite places in Taipei to dine and hang out with friends. It is great for all occasions and group sizes. Menu offers a great range from breakfast items to dinner with many beverages and great wine varieties. Staff is efficient and friendly. Would recommend to anyone who wants to have a good meal and great time.
