I love the food the atmosphere the music the outdoor decoration, they let you know in advance that it takes 40 to 45 minutes to make the food if you are 4 persons but omg it worth the wait. Best seafood pasta I’ve ever had in my life it had this taste of grilled shrimp and all the flavors were mixed it makes you want to go back and have it again, I liked that they served us all at once not separately. All their plates are unique and with a special touch of the chef. Plenty space for parking behind the restaurant, I highly recommend it.

Supercute local restaurant. Run by a local, zanzibary man. I was here 3 times already and always completely satisfied. What you can expect?! Simple, traditional, flavored swahili food. Fresh seafood - if they do not have they tell you. No frozen ingredients! And their watermelon juice is the best on the entire island 😋 Maybe a tiny complain, once arrives the food, few cats will be around you. Waiters are very attentive to send them away. But smtimes tricky. Funny thing : during the night moscito spray as obvious part of the table setting as salt & pepper 😅

We have been eating here quite regularly in the past since Mimi Cafe is located in our neighborhood. But our recent visit was bit very successful to say the least. We were 5 persons ordering dinner. The order was quite challenging since half of the menu was not available. No fish, no seafood, no Dhal (which I had often eaten in the past). Finally we all ordered something available. After 1:15 hrs the first dish arrived which was a pizza which was fairly good. Then 2 plates with ugali abs beef where brought. The ugali was very little and awful and looked more like an English breakfast porridge than ugali. The staff refused to change or improve it. One dish ( chicken with avocado salad) was ok. Finally after 1:45 h the last dish arrived which. It should have been Masala Chips, but what was brought was a plate of cold chips soaked in ketchup. When we asked to amend it into masala chips we were informed that there are no onions nor tomato or other ingredients for Masala chips in the kitche

I had a business appointment during lunch time and I was attracted by the simple but elegant restaurant setup. Free wifi is available in case you have to do your work on the move. I ordered the pizza and it's one of the best I've ever had. Their avocado and vanilla milkshake was just too good. Was too excited with the food that I forgot to take pictures. Friendly staff and good service. You don't wait for an eternity to get your food served to you. Keep it up.
