Me and my girlfriend came here for dinner and it was such a good find. The place is really spacious with nice lighting and a cozy vibe - perfect for date night without feeling cramped. The food was outstanding. We started with fried shrimp with tartar sauce that was hot and crispy, and the parmesan fries with truffle sauce were seriously addictive. The salmon toast called “The Second Toast” was very good too - fresh salmon and great balance of flavors. For mains, I had the risotto with scallops and it was super creamy with perfectly seared scallops. The chicken with mushroom was also really well executed, tender and full of flavor. Drinks were just as good as the food and the service was friendly and attentive. We loved everything about this place. Great food, great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back. 5/5

This Western food restaurant serves very nice western food with some Thai food spin. I love the Truffle Mushroom Soup, Sauteed Salmon Steak, Pork Lasagna, Prawn Spicy Pasta and the Tiramisu. The price is slightly higher but the quality of the food is higher than average. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Overall is an enjoyable experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Secondary restaurant in downtown HatYai City, and I must say, it left a positive impression. The food was not only delicious but also visually appealing, with well-presented plates that truly enhance the dining experience. However, I did find that some of the portion sizes felt somewhat small for an adult, particularly the duck dish, which left me wanting just a bit more. The restaurant also offers a nice range of wines, adding to the overall dining experience and providing excellent pairing options for the meals. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the meal. Their service added a nice touch to the overall experience. However if The Secondary aims to elevate its status to a higher standard, it might be beneficial for the staff to adopt more formal attire, like long pants for men, to match the restaurant's refined ambiance.

After 10 days on the islands and a hot journey to Hat Yai this was the perfect respite before the sleeper train back to Bangkok - just a 10 minute walk from the station. Cool and stylish and serving up delicious, beautifully presented dishes, with an excellent wine selection, we spent a happy late afternoon here (no 3pm closing, thank goodness). We almost walked past it, but very glad we found it and stopped by.
