I think I’ve found the best 45 baht cup of Americano in Bangkok. Sam Cafe (SC), tucked away just off Soi Phaya Nok, is a gem and while small in size, the SC coffee is big in flavor, strength, and crème. Staff are also warm and friendly and compared to other ritzy, bigger name cafes in the area, SC more than holds its own. Interior-wise, SC is cosy and comfortable with arm chair and sofa seating as well benches and stools along the cafe’s big windows. I think SC will be my regular caffeine rest stop from now on. I feel lucky to have discovered this coffee shop treasure and recommend it highly.

Sam Cafe is one of the best coffee shops you will ever visit in Thailand! It is tucked away on Soi Phaya Nak and the owners, Pi Sam and Gop, are some of the nicest people you will ever meet! My wife and I make it a point to stay near their coffee shop and visit every single morning. I urge anyone reading this, stop going to Amazon Cafe (or any other chain like Starbucks) and give them a visit. The quality of their coffee and food exceeds anything you will get from a chain. They make some of the best coffee you will have in Thailand, trust me! Iced Caramel Macchiato is delicious and the "Banoffee" pie is SO good! We can't wait to come back and see them again!

The best tasting coffee in Bangkok at the cheapest price! What's not to like! That's a pretty bold statement to make and whilst taste is very subjective this to me really is the best and the price is about one third of what you would pay in a corporate. Their house coffee is from a Thai bean sourced from the north in the hills between Chang Mai and Chang Rai and there are other beans available for you to try. A small selection of cakes pastries and sweets are usually available. It's nice and bright inside and good air conditioning. Staff are kind and friendly with the owner speaking good English. Located in a small soi within walking distance of Hua Chang pier and Ratchathewi BTS station in a part of the real Bangkok. Most definitely worth a visit!
