“Atmosphere is nice with many screens to watch your favourite sports, not too loud either which is good! I had a delicious and good value roast pork loin with a cold Leo, perfect pairing whilst watching The Ashes.”
“After I'd previously only had a late beer here, this time I decided to go i late afternoon for dinner, fantastic service with amazing food.”
“We went on Friday lunchtime for fish and chips, including a free pint! As a fish and chips expert, I can genuinely say that this is the best I have had! Along with the background music and variety of sports on the multiple screens, the Royal Oak provided a perfect Friday afternoon!”

D J★★★★★Consistently the best expat pub in Bangkok. Staff are always welcoming, drinks reasonably priced and good pub food. Both the Thai and the Western dishes are enjoyable, with daily specials to look out for. Had the roast chicken dinner, that comes with a complimentary draft Tiger/glass of wine or a soft drink. A huge feed with a Sprite was only 345 THB, and I was fed for the day. The bar has multiple floors with additional seating on the second. The upper floor is used for functions, meetings and occasional shows by the Bangkok Comedy Club. This has been the site of an English pub for over 30 years with the Bull’s Head previously on this site. A 3 minutes walk from Phrom Phong BTS on Sukhumvit 33/1. The same street has the Robin Hood, Laughing Tiger and O’Sheas, all seem to thrive.

Art Supa Siri★★★★★Comming here with English friend of mine on Sunday at noon for Roasted plate, served with house red wine I’ve never come to this english style pub before. And for lunch time, it is like typical restaurant with people from small kid to grown up. Overall experience was impressive and food is also good. If you are football or rugby fan, there are many tv screens showing matches of those sport.

Stuart MacMillan★★★★★I would like to recommend The Royal Oak Pub in Bangkok for its amazing Guinness, English, Thai food, great atmosphere and friendly attentive barmaids!! But I would like to highlight the beautiful Carista for her hard work and friendliness. The pub offers a classic British pub atmosphere, making it a great spot for both locals and expats to enjoy a drink, something to eat and watch sports. Overall, I consider it a must-visit for anyone looking to experience a decent pub in Bangkok!
Sukan Sethi★★★★★REGAL Dining & Chilling at ROYAL OAK Episode 1: The Journey to Royal Oak Every hour is HAPPY HOUR - sometimes the pub is happy, and at other times it’s the patrons. My quest for dining happiness brought me to ROYAL OAK PUB & RESTAURANT a couple of years ago, after having faced multiple disappointing sessions in nearby venues. Royal OaK which is designed on a British theme was the only venue in the neighborhood which I hadn’t visited. One fine day as I was walking by, I glanced at the venue briefly and the smiling staff caught my attention and I decided to give it a shot. My conviction about ‘First Impression’ being the most crucial element of any interaction proved true on my first and subsequent visits. 👍 Episode 2: MAX the Magician Over my multiple visits across two years I observed several things such as the attitude of the staff and the quality of the food. The good service of the warm staff and the quality of the food boils down to one crucial element - Mr. Max Antony - the
Christian Breitkreutz★★★★★I usually only go here for the weekly trivia. But it’s also a nice chill pub for a couple of beers. Their food is classic pub food plus Thai staple dishes. They have a great beer selection and Happy Hour before 7pm. Every Wednesday they hold a trivia. It’s getting packed: so better book a table. It’s always fun. Great manager, great host and great service.
