I recently visited Art House Café and had a lovely experience overall. The atmosphere was welcoming, and we enjoyed spending time there as a family. We purchased a plate for my daughter to paint and decorate, and she absolutely loved the activity. The only disappointing part was that we were told the plate could not be displayed at the café afterward. My daughter had been very excited about the idea of seeing her artwork hanging there in the future. She carefully wrote her name and the date on the plate, hoping to come back next year and find it on display. For her, it was much more than a simple craft activity. She is currently dealing with a serious illness, and having her artwork displayed would have given her something special to look forward to and a sense of hope and accomplishment. I completely understand that businesses have policies and space limitations, and I respect that. I just wish there had been a way to accommodate her request or offer an alternative. Staff were really friendly! The cost of food and drinks are slightly overpriced and the taste was a bit average. Had lots of fun the paint was a bit streaky but it worked out in the end, there were two galleries and they were amazing to look out but a bit short! I recommend to come visit especially with as many friends (it fits many people) to have fun and enjoy with you.
