I recently visited Mamafri Restauran and had a pleasant but slightly mixed experience overall. The ambience is visually very pretty and well designed, giving a cozy style dining vibe. However, at night the restaurant becomes too dark with very little lighting around the tables. While dim lighting can be nice, this felt excessive. It was difficult to properly see the food, and a few more soft lights would really improve the dining comfort. Starting with appetizers: Wagyu Gyoza and Salted Edamame. Both were very good. The gyoza were nicely cooked with a good filling and flavor balance, and the edamame were simple but fresh and perfectly seasoned. Next was the Mushroom Bao, which turned wherein the bun was soft as expected and the mushroom filling was flavorful and satisfying. Definitely a dish I would recommend ordering. For the main course, I had the Chicken Ramen. As someone who really enjoys Ramen, this was the only disappointing part of the meal. The broth lacked depth and richness

We really enjoyed our iftar today, the food was deliciousss and the waiters were all so friendly and fast. Our order was: Tom yum miso soup,Miso lentil soup Vietnamese spring roll,Shrimp dumplings, Corn fritters. Mie goreng & Mamas fried rice. Waguy fried rice 10/10 Chicken katsu 10/10 Crispy beef 10/10 Our only comment was that the soups were extremelyy salty but other than that everything was verrrry tasty and the 10’s dishes were just wow! We loved the mochi and ordered another plate cuz its sweetness was very balanced. Will definitely come back!

Checked the menu several times and judge the place as average. I had the chance to try it tonight and I was blown away. The simplicity of the Mama Salad with a perfect Asian dressing. The crispy beef is generous, flavourful, honours its name by being very crunchy. It not spicy 🌶️ at all yet has a nice kick at the end that can be calmed down by the mashed potato pure that comes under it. The Panang curry is exactly the same that I had in Malaysia. I am definitely coming back because I heard many times in their take away orders a Mie Goreng. Service was good and the ambient of the place is nice and calming. Found it perfect for a Sunday night dinner winding down at the end of a great week. Maybe another day it will have a different atmosphere. I will try to come on a Friday or Saturday night.

Beautiful restaurant in a nice area. Below is my rating: Food • Crispy beef with honey sauce on mashed potato (2/5) – This dish could have been delicious, but it was far too sweet and we couldn’t finish it. Mashed potato was very good • Crab salad (4/5) – Fresh and tasty, though a bit heavy on the mayonnaise. • Sushi (4/5) – Good quality, but nothing particularly special. • Wagyu beef dim sum (1/5) – Unfortunately, the raw garlic inside the steamed meat was too strong and overpowering. Mocktails (3/5) – Arrived after the first course and were still quite sweet, even though we asked for them to be less sweet. Still very tasty. Interior (5/5) – Beautiful, stylish, and atmospheric. A bit dark, but very pleasant. Staff (5/5) – Very kind, fast, and attentive.

Visited recently as usual, I ordered kimchi fried rice as it comes with a sunny side egg on top. However, when they served it there was no egg. I spoke with the waitress and she said the menu is old, they currently scramble the egg within the rice. I told her I want it as usual. They then served the egg and charged me extra Dhs 5 for it. I don’t mind paying extra but you should either serve your dish as promised in the menu or change the menu all together, instead of deceiving your customers and charging them extra. This gesture was neither appreciated nor appropriate. Management should work on delivering basic expectations.
