Just had dinner at Vertigo and was impressed with the food quality and service. Order arrived fast, we tried the Californian fried calamari and fully loaded chicken quesadilla, plus a hot brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. Plenty of drinks to choose from, I liked the Piña Colada. They have a big screen where you can watch a football game, atmosphere is pretty relaxed.

Nice place for a night cap after sightseeing in Dubai. Close to Dubai metro station Deira City Center, take exit 4. From there it's just a five minutes walk to the hotel bar Modern furnishings. Professional bartender. Good selection of spirits and beers. A bit expensive though. Funky music on their playlist 🎵. A bit sports bar, a bit hotel lounge. Plenty of space. Not too crowded when I was there. Easily accessible from both, the Novotel and the Ibis Deira City Center. Recommended.
