It's simple and straight forward. I come here all the time for my garden needs but never thought to sit down at the café - the main dining area. Overall, it's a chill environment with fresh ingredients. Very shocked with the size of these sweet potato wedges... haha it's basically 1/2 the sweet potato. It's not a bad thing. The only feedback would be service... I understand it's a café but the servers were a little too slow, almost like molasses which is unfortunate. It seems unaligned to the rest of the team working in the garden shop. It's a good place to hang out or have a business lunch but not if you're in a slight hurry.

Visited the cafe on the weekend and ordered a San Sebastian Cheesecake that Roseleaf Cafe is famous for. When it arrived it looked nothing like a basque cheesecake. I asked the waitress in case she served me the wrong slice and she confirmed that this is a basque with "blueberry topping'. I accepted it and when we cut and tasted it, it confirmed that it was not the basque style cheesecake we ordered. (Pic attached) However I let it go and paid the bill. After our meal, I happened to walk over to the other counter I noticed the same cake I was served but with a label "Baked Cheesecake with Blueberry compote" (Pic attached) I asked the waitress again but this time the manager and two others, who appear to know the manager/owners, came over and started to explain to me that this is a Basque Cheesecake but with "modifications" by the chef, a biscuit base and topping was added. The cafe is within the Dubai Garden Center nursery. The moment you enter the nursery, it feels like you have been transported to some other place - it’s full of plants, greenery and life. Walk a little bit and you will fine this cute little cafe. I went there with my 7 month old son and had enough space to park his stroller around my table. I was there by 9 am so the cafe was not crowded still. The food came pretty quickly and was delicious. I ordered an egg lox and the salmon was specially tender and tasty. Coffee was ok. The ceiling fans kept the cafe super cool and my son busy as well. I recommend!!
