We visited the new restaurant, Elaia on Saturday. Absolutely fabulous setting...we were given a beautiful table outdoors on their terrace overlooking the Marina. The food was beautifully presented and sooo good! The service, by the wonderful Jomar, was attentive and spot on. A lovely bubbly vibe, possibly one slight issue... the (slightly too loud!) in-house DJ...although, to be fair, the music was great!!! Thank you... we will, most definitely, be back again soon!!

When we arrived, the building itself was just beautiful. You have to go up in the lift to access the restaurant called Asia Asia. Once we arrived, I was first taken aback by how dark the restaurant indoors was. However, we had a balcony table outside with the most breathtaking views I've ever seen. There were huge multi-coloured boats sailing passed throughout the whole time that we were there with light music playing in the restaurant, making the ambience perfect. Being a high-end restaurant, I expected the food to be expensive, and it really was. The service was very good, and our waiter went over and above. When the food arrived we were taken back by how small the portion sizes, we also found it nice enough but lacking anything special really which was a suprise. When returning to dubai again, I wouldn't hesitate to visit this place again, but only for the scenery and drinks
