I had an absolutely unforgettable night at Mezo Noir in Kampala! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the elegant décor and classy ambiance — it felt upscale yet comfortable. The staff were exceptional: friendly, attentive, and professional. Our waiter, Phiona, made us feel really welcome and helped us choose dishes from the menu that were just perfect. The food was outstanding — beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The drinks were equally impressive: the signature cocktails were creative and delicious. Visited on a Wednesday night, which had no crowd, everyone else wasn't happy about it but I loved it😁. The service was awesome, the food was amazing, the Fries 🍟 were so yummy and I was honestly surprised at the menu prices, I had always imagined an expensive place but cocktails are 30,000 to 40,000 which is fair enough, I didn't check the beer prices but shooters are 10,000. The restaurant is located in a secluded part of the area. Parking for approximately 10 cars. The kitchen is separated from the main restaurant hall. The interior is quite rich, with beautiful plates and cutlery. I really liked the signature cocktails. With food, everything is not so clear: the hummus was too thick and did not have a delicate consistency. But the biggest problems were with the steak. The steak (UGX 105,000) was large, but had a ton of veins, was horribly over-salted and was well-done instead of being medium as I have ordered. It is inappropriate to serve such a spoiled dish in an establishment of this level. The burger from the kids menu was tough too. In general, it is fashionable to recommend a restaurant for a romantic dinner, but it is not a guarantee that you will like all the dishes.

If looking for a fine dining place within Kampala or a lovely place to hangout with friends on a Friday evening or have a first impression on a date. I would highly recommend this place. The ambiance is amazing maybe to correspond with the name Noir as well. Everything is well designed to perfection. The staff are friendly. The food is one of the main attractions too. I took the T-bone steak and almost ordered for a second though it's good to note the food might take a while to be delivered. This is also a high end restaurant and bar therefore it's good to come when you are ready to spend. Highly recommend it for a date or corporate hangout.

My friends and I had an amazing time at Mezo. The service was a bit slow but it’s understandable as we went in on a busy night but the waitress was amazing. The Dj had us dancing all night and their pizza was delicious. Definitely recommend
