The place has a great menu and the food was also good. The pizzas are really nice. However, the service is lacking, especially in the restaurant inside. The waitresses were just standing and staring at us while we wanted to get some service. I don't know if it's a racial-based kind of service. When other guests of a different race came in, they were treated a bit better than us. Their food came earlier. Service was all over the place.

I happened to dine in at the Middle East Restaurant at Arena Mall for the first time and my experience wasn't great. The ambiance is great, the staff is friendly I'd say but abit pushy when it comes to taking orders. I mean I get that they probably get a commission from upselling and taking in high orders but listen to a customer first rather than recommending drinks I don't need simply because they are valued at a higher price. I ordered for the broasted chicken with fries, the fries are always a 10/10 but the chicken was under seasoned, the salad wasn't good at all, they served it with a bun which had no butter, I couldn't see the point of it. Overall, my experience was 5/10.

This branch is located at Arena Mall Nsambya. The place is clean and pretty. We sat at outer annex..the staff were helpful, but many of the young waiters were a bit inexperienced. I came with one guest and we were shifted from our seats. It would have been easier if, from the beginning, we had been asked the number of people and been given a table for 2. The staff were very polite so I forgave them for this. I enjoyed my meal, I had the Lebanese kebab with chips, hummus, and pita bread. The portions are generous, and the food was good. The waiters also brought a real citronella candle, so we were protected from insects during our meal. I will definitely come back to sample more dishes. I would recommend that the cleaners avoid cleaning when customers are eating. That's not a good practice. I know the waiters want to be helpful, but they can stick to the service area.
