I mean what is there not to love. Service is friendly and quick, prices are good and the food is great. We had a Sunday roast which was £11.99 with bottomless yorkies, toasties and gravy for just £1 extra. It came with three meats Beef, Gammon and Chicken The beef was gorgeous and the gammon and chicken were good as well. Carrots and peas were lovely there was greens and a parsnip. It was all really nice. The bottomless element is you get an extra portion of roasties, yorkies and gravy on a separate plate bought to the table, and then you order more as you go if you want. We had the breakfast here with our stay in the premier Inn next door. We were given a table right next to a mouldy, damp window/area. You could smell it even when you walked in. Our server was lovely and really attentive but that's probably the extent of the good things. The breakfast LOOKED good, butter failed badly. Poached eggs overdone, mushrooms bland, veggie sausage incinerated, bacon thin and stuck together, black pudding tasted of nothing. The meat sausages were very nice though!

First of all, the waitress for our table was delightful. She did warn us that there was a 30-40 minute wait food. I requested a Guinness 0 per cent- none available. I asked for smothered chicken- no chicken available but I could have chicken goujons which I accepted. Then there was no cheese except vegetarian. Everyone's meal took over 50 mins to arrive- not acceptable. My meal had the smallest portion on BBQ sauce I have ever seen. We then ordered a couple of desserts and coffees. The black coffees arrived quickly, but we asked for milk which took almost 15 mins to arrive- again, not acceptab

We went sun 10th May for a meal in the early evening, ordered 2 mixed grills food was lovely and piping hot when served to us. Staff excellent especially young blonde girl who was on the bar I think I heard a regular call her Rach, she was lovely, polite and chatty and when nobody wanted serving she made herself busy cleaning and organising the bar shelves. Breakfast the following morning again excellent service and friendly staff if I was in the area again would definitely return.
