The tapas dishes were very tasty, however the paella was incredibly salty - i couldn't finish it due to this. I mentioned this to the staff which responded with 'ok'. The staff standing next to your table at the entrance waiting for guests is a bit too much.

We had an excellent time at Dos Amigos. All the staff were outstanding, a real credit to the restaurant and what's more it was our 7year wedding anniversary and we were seated in a lovely wee corner, all waiting staff and especially the lady in the black suit.. Amazing. Dos Amigos should be grateful to these staff for representing them so well. The food was also excellent and really good value. We also loved the wee. Free. Shots to celebrate our anniversary.. Husband also got a non alcoholic one since he was driving... Truly above and beyond. If we were local we would be regular and happy cus

I’m actually gutted to be writing a negative review, as I really don’t enjoy doing them. But Dos Amigos just didn’t live up to the hype. It’s tucked away down a bit of a sketchy looking road, even though it’s just off one of the main streets in town. From the outside, the building does look the part, like a charming little Spanish restaurant, which I appreciated. But once inside, the stairs going up to the toilets (and the toilets themselves) were pretty rough and really need some attention. I'm really puzzled as to why this place has such glowing reviews..... I appreciate Aberdeen hasn't got many places to eat but come on.... It's not a mexican. It's more Spanish. But it's not Spanish. I feel this place has a real lack of proper identity. The food is ok. Not amazing. The burritos are sub par and 10000x worse than Fresh Mex. The tapas stuff is OK but the portions are tiny. The wine is bog standard as are the cocktails. The service not great....
